A new addition to the herd. 2005 Reverend Rumblefish R5L. These were the original basses from Reverend, 1999-2006. There was quite a lot of good press about these when they first came out, but unfortunately they never sold very well.
I think only 600-some Rumblefish were made. 289 were R5L's, 74 in black, with about 15 with a maple board. U.S. made, they have a phenolic body and a 35" fingerboard scale. 3-way switching (both pickups parallel, neck pickup single coil, both pickups series).
It sounds great. The articulation is exceptional. Even though it is somewhat of a collectable, it won't be a closet queen.
PS: post edited for better pic quality. I'm not real familiar with using postimg.org to post pics.

I have a Dub King that I bought new about 10 years ago. Extremely well-made. Not my favorite neck profile, but I put up with with it because the bass sounds really good and not like anything else I have.

Beautiful basses , always thought they were far more successful than they actually were.
