This launch seems to be the talk of the YouTube gear influencers. 20 watt head and combo versions, 3 channels, 4 "galaxies" (green, blue, purple, red), 4-12AX7 preamp, 2-6V6 power section, store your galaxy settings in 128 user presets and recall them with the 4-button midi footswitch. Also includes 6 onboard cab sim IRs that can be edited with included software (Win and MacOS). Supposedly takes pedals well. Oh, but the best feature is how the galaxy logo changes color as you switch through them. Around 2K USD for the head. Seems to be Soldano's answer to the small Revv heads. Personally, I'm not interested but maybe someone out there might be. Rock on.

Meanwhile my favorite amps are my 4-holer Marshalls.
Are you kids still on my lawn?!?!

There is no reason why we can't have modern technology of presets and midi and changing colors in an all-tube (or near enough) amplifier. It's great! There is another choice on the market and we've lost nothing because of it. it's a win-win for everyone. Still, Some people will complain having never tried the amplifier. And some will try it and still complain, many will try it just so that they can complain, and some will love it.

I reserve my right to blindly complain and disdain. 😂

I can see where this works well for a lot of folks - the silent out options, etc and switchable stuff will go very well for the people who aren't playing gigs from 1970.

Well, the self-inflicted wound of the music industry is that the more you messed with something, the more compromises you made, and the more likely you were to throw out the baby with the bathwater.
The newest tech is much better at walking and chewing gum, so I agree with you. There is a lot of promise.
All of the sounds are a bit bright to my ears, not sure if that is how he's mixing it, or if that is just a function of the 6v6s? It could be a good thing for some hard rock/metal people who set their tone too bass heavy and get into volume wars with their bandmates. That "red" channel sounds like it would sit in a mix waaay better than a Mesa, but accomplish the same thing.
