Woke up to a few inches of snow this am.her in NJ Supposed to change to mix later. right now its early enough that the snow is still white and looks kinda nice. My area has been very lucky and escaped the torrential rains that have flooded so much of NJ.

Woke up to another 10” of the white stuff here! We’ve been getting a lot lately but not enough for the snowmobiles yet.
Time to spark up the snowblower.

We've had some snow here (NW Missouri), but it's mostly just been bitter cold. Negative temps for the past 4 or 5 days. We'll have a break tomorrow- it will finally get above freezing:)

Maybe 2 more here, it's been to cold to snow for the past few days. We probably have gotten 8 inches so far this month. Nice. Cause I don't have to go anywhere!

Seems to be a typical January aside from the very warm wind and rain storms last week, which produced very high tides and lots of beach / coastal erosion. Now into snow and colder temperatures. I assume more snow from now into the middle of February.

Not a single flake here in NorCal. It does sometimes happen, but rarely at altitudes below 3K feet. Where we are, closer to the moderating influence of the ocean, it's only happened all the way down to the water line twice in the past 50 years. Hail? Now and then. Frost? Not that rare during the winter. But snow? Almost never.

Got 3.5 feet on Saturday, digging out to the shop (where the woodburning stove is in case of power failure etc) took most of hte afternoon.
Had the drive cleared by Monday but that's doable with power toys.
Worst single drop since moving in almost four years ago, but it's been a light year so far.
And it'll be mid 40s with rain in afew days to wash it away.

We got less than 2” here, enough to scrape off the sidewalks but not to bother with the snowblower. It continued to flurry throughout the day leaving a nice icy coating on everything. Morning commute should be fun.

We got a dusting on the 5th for our first of the year. We got around 4 or 5 inches Sunday, along with single digit temps so it’s not going anywhere until probably Thursday when I think it’s supposed to get back to the 40s.

We got our first snow ( a 3.5” of snow) in the early hours of Monday Morning. Mild compared to other areas in the North.

We got 22" over 5 days last week, including a blizzard that lasted about 24 hours. Then the temps dropped to 15 below (F) with wind chills in 20-40 below range. We got above zero yesterday which was nice, but with the wind it was still 15 below wind chill.
I'm ready for a tropical escape.

Gotta say some snow beats the sub zero or near zero temps. Stay safe all you guys and stay warm. Oh watch out for stalled Teslas......

We got 4 inches over night. Enough to close schools and cause a run on the bread and eggs at the super.
I thought the big chill was going to be over but forecasting 0 to below 0 tonight and tomorrow.
I thought I left Wisconsin.

I'm in Sulphur LA, west of Lake Charles. 28f here. Heading home and hoping I don't find ruptured pipes when I turn the water back on.
