… the buffered ‘toe down’ … can seem overly screechy trebly. thanks for the techincle help but what would it do to the sound to put the tunner before the wha thks With a buffer between the guitar and wha circuit, the ‘toe down’ tonal balance can seem far too trebly.

For years I tuned to an oboe.
A - and it worked.
Over the years I’ve got lazy but I like the idea of tuning fork.
Off to Amazon.
Made in Sheffield - £12.99. It’s on its way. I doubt my carbon footprint will be enhanced, but I can use my ears again.
