Easy to assemble, tones are usable, and it drives tube amps nicely. Just like one of those original boutiques. But in all honesty, I like my MXR Duke of Tone better, mostly because its small footprint sits nicely on my board.

If you love the sound, for cheap you can get a tiny that is smaller than a Boss and sounds 100% dead on with my much bigger Warm Audio Centavo. TC Zeus, $79 at the majors. Pictured on my 'small board' before the recent renovation (where I had room to put the Centavo so did): versus 100% Klon(e) size (with the stuff that I don't see leaving any time soon as this revision has stuck for some time now):

I have a small Wampler Tumnus that sits on my medium size board. It’s a pretty good K-style OD pedal but seems to accentuate the highs a bit. I might change it out with the Duke of Tone. Here's a recent pic of my once perfectly sized gig board that’s now cluttered… Medium Pedalboard - June 2024

After the long wait, i cancelled my NotaKlon mainly because of the size of the pedal. I also have a Duke of Tone, but keep going back to a cheap EHX Soul Food. I have tried a lot of variations.
