I'm watching Fridays (remember that show?)and Tom Petty is the musical guest.
He's playing a Fender Tele with 3 humbuckers. They aren't the wide ranging things, they look like a regular humbucker. It also has a bigsby.
It was an early 80s show so I'm guessing it was from that time period. Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

That is one of my favorite guitar stories. There's a video of the pre-show meeting in Philly on the innerwebz. Campbell is not only a great player, he's also a classy guy.
