He was only 52. Sad news. I was aware of his film and TV work too. A very talented songwriter and apparently his death was Covid 19 related.

Probably not on many Moe's members' radar, but he was immensely talented as a songwriter. I think FOW put out some of the best pop rock of the last 30 years.
He was the brains behind the music of Tom Hanks' "That Thing You Do."

Very sad. I didn't know much by FOW apart from "Stacey's Mom", which was great, and "That Thing You Do." which was a superbly authentic early '60's Beatles(?) soundalike.
