Beautiful guitars!
The really good news is--unlike women--they won't fight over you.

Beautiful guitars! The really good news is--unlike women--they won't fight over you. Yeah. I suppose so. Why doesn't anyone mention the handsome Giraffe? It's like I'm invisible. It's all guitars, guitars, guitars!

I am really appreciating the Casino’s qualities tonally. It really is a unique sound. Hey, I will take that 335pro off your hands if it ceases to be loved

And.... another "unused Xmas present" has just been listed for £265. I'm having it, if the price stays where it is GuitarGuitar has the Pro back in stock. 10+ at the moment. £299! I do know that you have recently purchased a Katana. I also know that you have a birthday coming up.

I saw that. There were 6 this morning.
Don’t worry. You have a new amp. Congrats again.
Figuring out the foot-switch could provide you with hours of entertainment.

A bump to let everyone know that the pickup selector switch is playing up.
Obviously it is a lightly used home guitar and a wee fumble and a few flicks gets it going again.
When the repair shops open up again it will be going in for a fettle.
It’s nothing to do with coil splitting push/pull pots. I’ve checked.

I had a problem with my switch selector on mine and shot it with some Deoxit.
It's been behaving.

I had a problem with my switch selector on mine and shot it with some Deoxit. It's been behaving. Yeah, switches and output jacks are the two main issues with Asian made guitars. Both have weak springs

I had a problem with my switch selector on mine and shot it with some Deoxit. It's been behaving. I’m giving mine a shot of Servisol Super 10. It has worked before. I don’t even remember why I have a can of it or when or where I bought it. Fingers crossed.

A lot of times in these import (yet nice) guitars the switch gets the blame when often a bit of cleaning does the trick.

A lot of times in these import (yet nice) guitars the switch gets the blame when often a bit of cleaning does the trick. The asian jacks are crap. I change them with good switchcraft jacks shortly after receiving guitar. The Gretsch bass I bought a few months ago had a known issue with guitar plug not holding in all the way. As far as switch goes if in a solid body guitar I may leave it as it is easy to spray when needed but in a hollow or semi hollow instrument I definitely replace with switchcraft when starts giving me issues as I don’t want it crapping out when playing as it requires almost same effort to pull out to spray clean.

Agreed. The jacks are worthwhile changing sooner rather than later.

I love my Casino & Casino Coupe; love my Epi Dot as well. All three guitars were purchased in a matter of weeks because I suddenly had a mad addiction. I could’ve bought a Gibby 335 for the money I forked out (I also bought a Hagstrom Viking XII Deluxe in an insane moment, traded one of my favourite Strats but no regrets 'cause the Vik is amazing).
I now have an Epiphone ES335 on order, arriving sometime in April. It's a dilemma because I have no ideas if it'll better, worse or the same as the Dot. If it has a slimmer body I'd probably be sold. If it's the same I might not be so keen and would probably somehow source or make a 335 scratch plate for the Dot because it's the main feature of the guitar that annoys me.
I'm toying with the idea of selling or trading the Dot and Coupe to reduce the cost of the 335 knowing I'll lose money. One Casino and one ES335 are probably ideal (plus the Vik as the sweet cherry).
Damn addictions! Damn Decisions! :-)
