The 1st thing that comes to mind is on the last Georgia Satellites album. On the back it read:. "and Nicolette Larson appears courtesy of her own damn self"
That's a rockin' statement.

I remember seeing "Harry Georgeson" playing slide guitar on an Alvin Lee album. It was George Harrison.

In 1963, when Dion DiMucci moved to Columbia Records, his first album cover had him photographed standing sideways, arms folded, wearing a knitted sweater, but head turned toward the camera. This was the Ruby Baby album.
When Columbia released Dion's next album, they used the same photo, but cropped to show his head.
This is the same photograph that appears as part of the crowd behind the Beatles on the Sgt. Pepper album cover. So that picture was on three album covers.

Album cover art stuff.... The cover for Alice Cooper's Pretties for You is a print that was hanging in Frank Zappa's house. The album cover for Weezer's Pinkerton is Ando Hiroshige's Night Snow at Kambara

Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy record has the Giant's Causeway on the cover and Dunluce Castle on the inside. Both of those places I used to visit. They're not too far from where I was born. I remember seeing the record and going, "Hey!"
Curve's cover for their compilation Pubic Fruit is a macro shot of a piece of fruit that has little wiggly hairs on it. That made me laugh - brilliant.

The cover of Brian Eno's 1975 album Another Green World is a detail from a painting by a minor English artist titled 'After Raphael' which can be taken as a linguistic pun on the Pre-Raphaelite' movement which sought to replace the formal compositional techniques and aspiration to perfection exemplified by renaissance painters like Raphael and Michaelangelo with a more naturalistic and realistic style. Alternatively 'after' Raphael may refer to 'after' as in - in the style of (although taken to extremes) - or more likely both meanings were intended. Cool eh? Maybe not.

I like Angus Young getting skewered by his SG on the cover of one of the best live albums ever: AC/DC's 'If you want blood, you've got it."

Interesting. I used to have a black SG that my bandmate at the time referred to as Excalibur.

L'Angelo Misterioso is credited as playing rhythm guitar on BADGE. I did not know the nom de plume was used by Harrison elsewhere.

Photos of all 4 Beatles are hidden in the foreground of the Rolling Stones album Their Satanic Majesties Request as a nod to them including the Rolling Stones on the Sgt Peppers cover.

The Beatles close friend and artist, Klaus Voormann drew the famous artwork for the Revolver cover. He hid his name and an image of himself in George's hair!
