According to the TC Electronic web site the T2 can use all Hall of Fame toneprints. I can beam them from my phone with the app (only discovered that a short while ago) but can't 'store in pedal' from the PC editor version. The 'store in pedal' buttons are greyed out. When connected the editor recognises the pedals serial number and manufacture date, and the Hall of Fame button is highlighted for the library and templates. It seems the software is part way there to recognise the pedal.
TC Electronic has no direct support email, only the Music Tribe thing which seems useless.
I would like to create my own Toneprints and download them to the T2. Is anyone able to help?

Without a HOF unit to connect to the PC editor I don't see that happening. Love to be wrong on that. I think that's the reason those buttons are greyed out.
Went thru something like this wanting to use a new editor for an Eventide product. Was told to use the older editor (H9 control) even though it stated I could use the newer version.
I will say Eventide was helpful even though I didn't like the answer.

The Toneprint editors can be a pain. The phone app is all but useless. Buggy, crashy, and won't recognize my Alter Ego (which is a glorified flashback). To add insult to injury, even with the desktop version, since 2013 they have told us us toneprint sharing and ability to backup toneprints, or sinc editors on different devices were in the works. It's, frankly, bullxxxx and an embarrassment and it turns me off an otherwise good company with excellent products at great prices. The desktop apps generally work pretty well but I may have to make several attempts for it to correctly connect to a pedal. Personally, I prefered some of the older versions. The first one we saw was actually version 2 and was IMHO the most stable. It should work perfectly with your T2. The problem is that I cannot find them any more, the "show legacy versions" button on their website doesn't show legacy version any more. But you can contact their customer service team via the Music Tribe thingy and ask them for it. I have alwys found them quick and responsive, and willing to help. They even the sent me free replacement buttons once without me asking for free anything. Note that the last update of the editor was April 13, version 4.3.00. The version currently installed on my laptop is 4.2.30 and it still thinks it's the most recent one, so don't trust that! Before you contact TC, make sure you can confirm you have the most up to date version, and of course tell them what OS you are running. www.tcelectronic.com/Categories/Tcelectronic/Guitar/Apps/TONEPRINT-EDITOR/p/P0CLC/Downloads#googtrans(en|en)After thought... Also note that the T2 will NOT display in the app as the T2. It's just a HoF with a paintjob, so use those toneprints and templates. The only templates available are those for the HoF, so the particular settings unique to the T2 do not have templates available to use a starting points for your own stuff.

DrKev- The T2 displays as a HoF because the menu is highlighted by a white square when the T2 is connected, as previously stated in my first post, but I can't use the HoF library or templates.
Peegoo- Unfortunately your link was no help because it's about Flashback firmware testing.
There is no firmware updates available for the T2 that I could find and I have downloaded the latest editor (and had the same problem with an earlier version).
The phone app works well when beaming, no stability problems. I guess I have to suck it up and accept that I cant create Toneprints using the computer.

With the appropriate USB cable adapter you can plug the pedal into your phone and use the phone as editor.

The iPhone is impractical for me becasue its to small. A laptop size screen with a mouse works much better for me. Isn't that why there is options for phone and computer based editors?
Saying that, I've been on-line for the last hour or so trying to find and iPhone to USB 2.0 mini cable or adaptor. Do you think it's easy to find one? No! plenty of iPhone to micro USB cables though. Why is it so hard? all I want to do is utilise the full capability of the T2. Toneprint is why I selected it over a bunch of other ambient reverb pedals thinking it would be easy. Puts me of TC electronics.

Such cables don't exist. That's why TC Electronic themsleves say you need a standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 mini cable *and* an iphone to usb female adapter. It's exactly the same thing people use to connect their DSLR cameras to the iphones. BTW, right-angle mini USB makes life easier when pedals are still on the board.
Honestly, I'm not put off by the cable thing, it's the buggy apps that put me off. I was a fan for a long time, but the app thing only went downhill. If you like the pedal without the toneprint thing, keep it. Otherwise, send it back if you can and don't spend money on the cables.
