It's called Waiting For My Real Life, and I've just watched it.
I really enjoyed it, and it seems a fairly honest portrait of a very talented individual, and highly entertaining raconteur.
The band I was in at the time was support act for Men At Work just after they hit it big in Australia, and even in those heady days he was approachable and down to earth, or so it seemed to me.

Colin Hay is extremely normal these days. He's always touring, and if you've never been to one of his shows, GO.
You don't even have to like his Men At Work stuff to enjoy it; he has so many really great songs you've never heard, and he can really sing. He also tells lots of stories, and he's hilarious. He's no slouch on guitar, either.
My hunnie and I have tix to his upcoming show in Annapolis. He's easily one of the top-tier singer-songwriters of our generation.

The doco puts a lot of emphasis on the singer/songwriter/entertainer aspect of his career.
It's very uplifting, and yes, he's charming and hilarious with a unique voice and serious guitar chops.

I think there’s a video of him visiting Norman’s Rare Guitars where he does an acoustic version of Overkill. Really awesome!

Talked to him after a show in 2012. Very approachable. Great stories. Very good live...very good.

I played "Land Down Under" at my last Open Mic. Got a nice round of applause. Great song, fun to play.
