Hey, all, Please delete if this ain't the place for this kinda thing, or tell me to and it'll be gone. My son's school assigns all eighth-graders a capstone project that is supposed to benefit the community. He drums in Stargazy Pie, a power pop band, so he organized a fundraising concert at a Tacoma venue with some other bands. They were going to donate the proceeds to a local children's hospital. Well, obviously c19 canceled the show, so he decided to shoot a video and use that as a premium for folks who donate to the cause. And since one of their favorite local clubs is really struggling since they can't put on shows, they decided to make the club their beneficiary. The club is Real Art Tacoma, and they're a non-profit all-ages club that supports the local music scene in a big way. It would be a shame if they had to close for good. If you wanna hear what Stargazy Pie sounds like, here's a link to their last show. If you'd like to support their favorite venue, here's a link to the gofundme. Again, sorry if this ain't cool -- just trying to help the kids. Thank you!
