I had to resurrect this thread for this song. I don't think it's been posted yet. It brings back those old feelings of high school.

If my to do list was not so long (I'm retired) I'd review all 4 pages of this thread and come up with other hits by these supposed one-hit wonders, other that those already mentioned.
Unless somebody else wants to do this.

Unless somebody else wants to do this. I'm not up for the entire four pages, but Player did have another big hit (though not quite #1) with "This time I'm in it for love", which made it to #10 in the US. Just as an off the cuff example

I didn't recall Player's other hit. After listening to it, I still don't recall it.

Bill Bartlett lives not too far from where I'm at.....my dentist is good friends with him.
He was in not one, but two bands that each had pretty big one hit wonders that still get airplay.
The Lemon Pipers with "Green Tamborine". Ram Jam with "Black Betty".
I'd like to say that my personal favorite is Sugarloaf's "Green Eyed Lady, but they also had a hit with "Don't Call Us, We'll Call You".....but ya hardly hear that one anymore.

I don't know who manipulated that video but they did a great job of syncing a Oneders song into the video.

^^^^ Also want to say that ----- from my days in the record business ----- and without going through all the picks ------ a couple of those were ours --------
Ram Jam - Black Betty
and
Looking Glass - Brandy.
Two others of ours that I thought were fantastic and would launch huge careers (but did not) though the artists continued to record with some but not the colossal level of success we hoped for are ...
Three Degrees - When Will I see you Again
and
Billy Paul - Me & Mrs. Jones.
We also had that wonderful Lou Rawls Record -- You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine --- which certainly does not make Lou a one hit wonder -- but it was all we could do when we had him.
