Here's mine for right now. I havent heard this is ages. I dont know if I should post the lyrics or not. Whoever wrote it had some breadth of musical knowledge and any song that has "slide guitar and Fender Basses" in the lyrics can't be all that bad.

My favorite One-Hit-Wonder? I honestly couldn't pick just one! Put it this way; my dream band would have a setlist consisting of about 80% one-hit-wonders and well-known bubblegum pop from the 60s and 70s, and 20% not-played-to-death classic rock songs. I'd rather play "Video Killed The Radio Star" than ANYTHING done by most Classic Rock cover bands.

First popping into my brain: The Leaves and their version of "Hey Joe," which emerged back around 1966. You couldn't be in a So Cal 60's garage rock band and not do this number.

In the year 2525 by Zager and Evans topped the the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Too bad they didn't include 2020.

Tony Burrows had a few hits with different bands (if that counts). One was above United We Stand with Brotherhood of Man. Here he is again with Edison Lighthouse. Gotta love the dancing.

One of my One Hit Wonder choices would be Crispian St. Peter with "The Pied Piper". One hit in 1966 and I think that was all.
