...I got the Hammond RT-3 squeezed in there. I left it on dollies for now so I can move the 500 pound behemoth around if needed. I put the KX88 MIDI controller on top of it. I had to remove the music rack from the RT-3 to accommodate the KX88. It's a little high even for me but it's workable. The recording gear is in one corner, the guitar amps are in another, and the Leslie 760 is in another. There's a door in the remaining corner or I would have something in that space as well. If the darn bed wasn't in there I'd have enough room to setup everything. I still have synths in cases in the closet and under the bed. I have guitars in closets, under beds, and anywhere else there was an empty space big enough. i.postimg.cc/BQmmJBvT/Hammond-Is-In.jpgi.postimg.cc/WbxJmdYR/Guitar-Amps.jpgi.postimg.cc/s2rQ8tRw/Leslie-760.jpgi.postimg.cc/xTQvJx8r/Spare-Parts.jpg

that's why I sold my C-3 a couple yrs ago, it was just taking up too much space. Had it for around 15 yrs and it felt like I could breathe in here again when it was gone, though my other Leslie 122 and small XK-2 are there instead.

I just love those big Hammond organs. A B3 or C3 would have been smaller but these RT3's are a bargain compared to the others since they are not as popular. I think a lot of that has to do with their size. They have the full 32 note AGO bass pedals where the B and C series organs had 25. The organs had to be wider to accommodate the additional bass pedals. I have the pedals but don't have enough room to set them up so they live in the closet with the music rack. The bench is being used in the living room as a magazine table.
I got a real good deal on this organ. $500. A B3 or C3 in this condition would be anywhere from 3 or 4 times that much and this will do everything they will and a little more. I just hate to get rid of it because it sounds so good when cranking it through the Leslies. I figured that if the RT3 is good enough for Abbey Road Studios then it's good enough for me.

I'm not that smart. The nap location was another unavoidable fluke. The wife wouldn't let me move the bed out to make more room for my stuff.

@nin.... Please tell me that's a spare room. I know how that design esthetic would go down as a bedroom choice around here.

Yup, it's the spare bedroom. The bedroom set was built by either my wife's grandfather or great grandfather. I can never remember. So, that stuff's not going anywhere. All I can do is work around it.

makes me wish I had a big old Victorian instead of an circa 1920 A frame [though I'm not complaining mind you] old Vics typically plenty of large rooms, one easily dedicated for a full size vintage Hammond and Leslie [or two]

Cool story about the bedroom set, nin. Nice looking recording set up, too.
Also, re-reading my post, I hope I didn't sound like I was commenting on the furniture. I was making a joke about having lots of gear in the bedroom. My apologies if it came out wrong.
