This is a really wonderful documentary. The clips of P-51s (and other airraft) in action are great, but the comments by the aces that flew them are what makes this a real winner. Stick around after the credits because there's more, and it's really good too.
I salute these brave pilots--on both sides; their commitment to airmanship and the sacrifices they made puts a tear in my eye.

Peegoo, that was the best P-51 documentary I have seen. Were the color videos from that time or something produced lately and added. Extraordinary shots! Thanks for posting this, it was great!

Yea... Cool aeroplane. But I've always wanted a P40 in my armchair dreams. I did some introductory lessons in the CAP and that was back in the day when United Airlines would let a ten-year-old into the Chickenpit and give you an honorary set of airlines wings. Yea, the P40 is what I'd like in my driveway. Both role model and favorite aeroplane:
The broken coke bottle and lit cigar is the best ever.

Thanks for sharing Peegoo. I agree that's one of the best documentaries of WWII I've seen. I had the thought that the current "Dogfights" TV program is a modern variant of the dogfighting/pilot interview genre.

Those color clips don't look colorized to me. They may be the real deal.
