So apparently here in Ohio cbd oil is around . There is a lot of talk about how effective it is with pain relief . I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and a pinched nerve in my lower spine that affects my right hip. We are still determining the source of the lower spine. I have tried epidurals in my neck with mixed results and currently take ibuprofen every day with some relief, but long term side effects can be bad.
I was looking at cbd oil , but it’s not cheap . I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it and what was the results. Thanks in advance.

Did nothing for my issues (arthritis and insomnia) but a friend swears by it for joint pain. It cost me $65 to find out.

Tommy Chong has a lot to say about CBD oil. Google.

I should add that getting my CBD in it's natural form certainly does help my arthritis.

My wife uses it daily for her arthritis. Those oils are not all the same. She tried a few different ones before one finally helped her. Now she only buys this from the same seller (on eBay). She was at the point where her knuckles would swell and she couldn’t wear her rings. Daily use of the oil reduced the swelling as well as greatly reduced the pain. The oil is now relatively inexpensive compared to what is was a couple of years ago when there was a craze for this stuff. I think she paid around $14 for a bottle; it seems to last a while. I tried it once; made me feel like I had a dopey hangover. I’d try medical Mary Jane if I could, but our state legislators still get their training from watching the “Reefer Madness” film....

I think....to paraphrase things....what do you have to loose.....other than a few bucks? We here are all wealthy musicians....yes? Give it a whirl.

Hey, I have the spine-pinch-nerve-hip problem too. The CBD lotion I use works, but not spectacularly. I also have an NSAID lotion (Pennsaid) that gives decent relief most of the time. But but not all RX plans cover it and its expensive. Going for surgery, where they insert a plastic wedge between the two disks, seems less invasive than fusion. It was called X Stop, but I forget what the new version is- ask your doc.
EDIT to add: its called coflex® Interlaminar Stabilization, and its titanium. look it up.

Thanks , I have a dr appointment with my spine doc and I’ll see what he says. We get to go over my mri results and options. I did buy some CBD oil . So I’ll see if it was worth the 65 bucks.

Went to my spine dr after my mri. Diagnosis is stenosis aka is arthritis. Recommend to 1 monitor it , 2 pt and a prescription for Mobic or epidural shot. Since monitoring it isn’t working I opted for pt and mobic which is supposed to be a lot stronger than ibuprofen. No the cbd did not work like at all.

I've tried CBD with little to no effect. Voltaren (Diclofenac) works better and is cheaper. It is a NSAID gel application. YMMV.

The drug I am taking , im not supposed to take another NSAID with it, so Ill try this prescription .Its only costing me 1.63 a month. Time will tell.

I tried a few different CBD oil and gummies. Neither did anything for me.

I have a real low tolerance for THC. It F's me up.
I tried the zero THC gummies and was wiped out. If THC is your thing, I don't care. It is not for me.
I think it should be legal. THC that is. In any form.

i did take a chance and i've done my best to with hold judgement... after a week, i really do, not just imagine, that my arthritis is better... NOT gone, but i feel like getting up and doing things now. i don't feel any hangover type feelings, i do feel more relaxed.
my buddies tell me the real stuff would be even better, but it's not legal here and i don't want to risk it. i've bought things off the street so i'd get busted first time out.
i'll let you know more after a month... the bottle said i'd get a free one if i went to their website, but it won't let me in.

^ ^ ^ ^ Well, that's good news. My wife says her hand/finger joint pain is mostly gone, but not entirely. She also says that it took a good month (1+) for her to get at the point where she is now. I buy a majority of my supplements at Piping Rock, and earlier this year they started selling their own CBD oil and other CBD products. They rate & sell the oil according to the original method of mg/dose strength designation, which seems to be better than what I see for most of the products selling on ebay, where you see something like, "15,000" somethings, etc. Eye-catching in a fantastical sort of way, sort of like "50,000 Leagues Under the Sea." I don't get it; not sure if I believe it; seems more like a pissing contest when you look at/compare all those ebay oils. Anyway, I'm thinking that CBD being manufactured at/for a supplement company might be more "authentic" or genuine vs. many of the products sold on ebay. So I asked my wife if she'd like to try one of these Piping Rock oils to see if it's any better, but she declines; she's satisfied with what she's buying now. There's a lot of variability of efficacy with "drugs" vs. individual physiology, etc... Hit and miss until you find one made for you. My wife must have tried at least six or seven different ones until she found the one she uses now. When you're always in pain you're willing to take those chances of finding one that works for you. www.pipingrock.com/cbd-products?keywords=cbd%20products&qid=1601296773
