Hushnel's pal Albert Castiglia's album Masterpiece is one of five nominees for Blues Rock Album. Other nominees in the category are -Killin’ It Live (Tommy Castro & The Painkillers) -Reckless Heart (Joanne Shaw Taylor) -Survivor Blues (Walter Trout) -Up and Rolling (North Mississippi All-stars) Is that intimidating? And not only that--he's nominated for Blues Rock Artist, along with other nominees -Tommy Castro -Tinsley Ellis -Eric Gales -Walter Trout Whoo! And FDPer "Monster" Mike Welch is one of five nominees for Instrumentalist--Guitar. The other nominees are -"Kid" Andersen -Laura Chavez -"Kingfish" Ingram -Junior Watson Best of luck, brothers! I also see that the Delbert McClinton and Self-Made Men + Dana album “Tall, Dark & Handsome” is up for the Grammy in the Best Traditional Blues Album category. Delbert’s keyboard player is a hometown friend who has been a Nashville session player for many years.
