My wife is having a video appointment with her cardiologist today, and then another with her GP tomorrow. Kaiser offers this for smart phones or computers. You talk face-to-face with the doctor, although your two faces are miles apart. The closest I have come to this myself (also Kaiser) is to send iPhone photos of suspicious skin lesions to my dermatologist. And once, an audio consult with my GP over the phone. I miss the adventure of finding a parking place at the clinic, but at least this way I can steer clear of the lubed finger for a while.
Any of this stuff up and coming in your neck of the woods?

You have to self-administer the finger.

My brother had one with his cardiologist then went to the E/R a day later where he had a full blown heart attack.

My blood pressure check in March was done virtually. It consisted of my doctor asking me if I am monitoring it, and asking me if I feel like its high.
I am hoping my October appointment will be in person.

I know it is available and covered by insurance but I have not been asked to do it and I have not asked about it either. I see a heart transplant surgeon next week. I don’t think it could be done on the phone.

I have had 4 Virtual Appointments with Spine Doctors. I use my Ipad Pro for better view than my little Iphone.

Okay, I can see it coming. Hackers representing themselves as doctors.
"Good morning Mrs. Jones.... I see we're discussing an ingrown toenail today .... please remove all your garments and then do a slow clockwise rotation, so that I can see if any toenails have cropped up in places where they shouldn't be. You may be asked to pause during the rotation so that I can zoom in for a closer look.
By the way, if you have a teenage daughter in the house, I can examine her as well, at no extra charge.

I had a Facetime appointment with my PCP in the spring, and a few days later a phone call with my oncologist. But I saw my cardiologist in person. That last one was shortly after I visited the ER in person with chest pains, leading to a stent.

My wife had one of these, a Dr she had been seeing for years. It went well enough to get an RX. So there's that.

Unless my doctor(s) NEED to see me I do the televisit thing.
Too bad this doesn't work for the dentist.

I guess with the right iPhone attachment .... to grease the skids, it would work for a colonoscopy. But you might want have some alone time during your "exploration".
You could do an endoscopy as well, but best to choose a different day, so as not to mix up the two different attachments.

A video chat with a doctor is not my thing. I'll make an appointment and show up, call in and wait in my car until its my time. I just did my annual treadmill test with my cardiologist. Can't do that on the phone.
My wife tried it several months ago. At the end the doctor told her our home was beautiful. It is. The doctor went WOW when my wife turned the phone to show our view.... It is.
