One of my favorite from their catalog. Dazed and Confused was a great song.

I believe it would be 51 years ago today?

A sledgehammer album.
Its release and the '69 gig in Denmark definitely left a mark in the western music.
I am lucky enough to own an early 70s copy of that record.

I believe it would be 51 years ago today? Damn, right! (I’m still in 2019 mode)

I have my original copy (along with the next 4-5 albums).
I like that Dazed and Confused started out as a Yardbirds song.

After hearing Communication Breakdown at 9, I asked my dad, "Dad? Who is Led Zeppelin?"
He replied, "Some damn rock & roll band."

I have my original copy (along with the next 4-5 albums). I like that Dazed and Confused started out as a Yardbirds song. I am not complaining. I also think that the first Zeppelin album is incredible!

The album is pure power from beginning to end. It really showcased their talent and Jimmy Page's amazing arrangement ability. Sure many of the songs were uh, borrowed but they made them their own. The original version of "Dazed and Confused" barely sounds like the Led Zeppelin version. It has the same basic bass line and similar sort of lyrics but Page took it to the stratosphere.

IMO... one of my favorite albums. I can't think of another album that influenced me more. There have been others that have come close but not more.

While one was great, it had a lot of slow-burn blues tunes. I'm more a fan of II with Whole Lotta Love, What Is and What Should Never Be, Heartbreaker, Living Loving, and Ramble On.
