Predicted low for Tuesday night is -49C. That's colder than I have ever experienced in my 31 winters up here. If the predictions are accurate, record lows will be broken. Meanwhile.....the rental side has, at best, a modest wood stove that is working overtime.
I have a 240 volt heater....wired like a water heater....(two hots, no neutral and a ground) that I have wired to a dryer connector. I had planned to put it in place during the wood stove replacement on the 20th, but I figure I will install it tomorrow. Drag is no clothes dryer for the tenant.
How's your life? cheers Roly

-49°C ! That’s a 4 dog night. Put an extra stick or 2 of maple on the fire and stay safe and warm.

You can Pee out the window and it is frozen before it hits the ground. I highly recommend this. The golden icicles of doom!

The only °C to °F conversions that I remember, off the top of my head, are 100°C = 212°F, 0°C = 32°F and -40°C=-40°F. Don't know how that last one works out(I was told there would be no math, here lol) but I knew we were talking COLD when I saw some of those °C temperature figures, mentioned in previous posts. BRRRR
