boy what a game....the halftime show was bittersweet for sure....Jim Brown standing there with a cane made me sort of teary eyed......I'm sure his knees are a wreck..

I had a tough time trying to decide who to root for, but in the end, Joe Burrow is just hard to not like...and the LSU coach?.....his voice just cracks me up...he was born to be a football coach

Yes and yes. Most enjoyable night. I respect Clemson, really like Dabo, but I was all in for LSU tonight.

Crap! I forgot all about the game being on a Monday night and missed it. I didn't expect LSU to win either!

Ole Miss.
Watching Coach O bring home the national championship while Lane Kiffin is your head coach.
Can you imagine?
A new rendition of Col Reb is Crying is called for.

I am amazed that any school would hire Kiffin after his behavior at Tennessee. I was disappointed that Saban hired him at Bama, and I do think that he came to regret that, too. I would at least like to keep him out of the SEC.

Fitting end to LSU's season. Clemson looked like a Georgia/Florida/Alabama caliber SEC team, obviously very good but LSU was on another level this year.
Interesting to see how Mike Leach and Kiffin will do in the SEC west, could make for some great competition with Bama/LSU/Auburn.

The year LSU had was amazing and I was with them all the way against Clemson.
For some reason, this western lad, born and raised in Utah, has always liked LSU. I have no explanation for it. Maybe it's their purple and gold colors.

Go to Baton Rouge and tailgate with them one time....lots-0-fun, food, and tradition like no other.

It ended the way it should have but Clemson never should have been at that game. Ohio State beat them but the refs took 14 points off the board. Hard to listen to Chris Fowler root for Clemson from the booth. Herbstreit kept trying to bring it back to neutral but Fowler was doing the same thing he did during the Ohio State game. ESPN really needs to try and get someone that doesn't cheer for one team. My wife kept asking why he was cheering for Clemson. Funny but I told my wife last night that Oberon couldn't be anything else but a football coach.

I’ve been a LSU fan since the late 60’s, went to my first LSU game in 1971(LSU 28/Notre Dame 8) and graduated from LSU in 1979. I bleed Purple and Gold.
When I say order restored, I mean LSU as National Champions and on top of the SEC - where they should be. At all times. 😁

Brady was always going to the NFL. Coach Orgeron has this. He’ll have his pick of resumes now. Plus, Slinger(Ensminger) knows the system. Replacing Joe Burrow will be, ahhh, difficult. Brennan has big shoes to fill next season. Geaux Tigahs.
