Well , it's ordered . I've been trying to order a little Phil Jones C2 cab . It's about the size of a shoebox , 12.5x8x11 , weighs 16 lbs , and covers 40Hz to 15Khz . That's a wider frequency response than an 8x10 Ampeg fridge . unfortunately for a new product , they seem to be lined up around the block to get one . I'm in the line . This is just for home use . A guilty pleasure . I like to keep my gig rigs completely separate from my practice rigs . This will be a difficult wait ...

Sweet, I’ve had my PJ DOUBLE FOUR (BG-75) for a little over a year now. It’s like an optical/audio illusion. Are you using a light weight Class D with it?

Yes , this will just be for home practice , it will be run with a little GK MB200 , which is a nice little practice head . I have a couple of serious Class D heads for gigs . I like small , lightweight , powerful , and modular . I've been running the little GK with an Ampeg 210AV . And I was perfectly happy , but when I first looked at this tiny little bin I was intrigued . And the more I looked into it , the more inevitable it became .

When things settle down I’ll take my MB200 in for repair, one day it just wouldn’t power up. I checked all the simple stuff. A guy over in Jacksonville is factory approved. It’s worthy of repair. The Double 4 doesn’t have that kind of head room, it still covers all the acoustic stuff and in powerless situations it can run it off a battery supply.

I love the MB200 , great little amp . I still have a little MB150 combo . I managed to blow it up . There was a module that had to be replaced , it took forever , and it was expensive , but it was worth fixing .

Morrow, that is a nice looking little cab! Be interested in how it does for you when you get it and have time to use it a bit.

I've been spending a lot of time with this little rig . If I turn it up the speaker will fart out , so it's useless for gigs . However , I bought it for strictly home use , at low volume . And it suits my needs . Nice and rich at low volume through a little GK MB200 . Nice rich tone . Surprising for the size . I really like it , and Herself thinks it's cool as hell .
