Couldn't sleep last nite, so I put this crazy thing together. Most "atomic" clocks you see have digital displays but this video shows my analog model. Every nite starting at 01:00:00 this clock listens for radio station WWVB, Fort Collins Colorado. The sequence shown started at 03:03:59. It synchronizes by moving ahead a minute and then waiting for the start of minute signal from the radio station. If the clock is way off, e.g. batteries replaced, then it moves the hands to 00:00:00 and then moves them once it has picked up the correct time. Hey, it was either this or try watching TV!
