I like everything about my Epi Dot except the pick guard, it looks a bit daggy. Does anyone no where I could source an ES335 style pick guard that would fit?

Thanks LTB. Nothing specific in their website about what I want but I've emailed them to see if a custom guard can be made.

I'm not certain if the Dot pickguard is the same as my Epi 335 Pro, but I recently looked for a shorter one myself. I swear these were fairly easy to find a while ago but I'm coming up short now. A few hits on Reverb, sold. Anything else I've found looks like it would require some drilling/countersinking.

How about a Les Paul pickguard? Isn't the pickup spacing about the same or close? Maybe try Pickguardian and see if they could make a pickguard for you. You would have to give them the pickup spacing so they could make it adapt to your guitar. Or get a blank 3 ply pickguard and cut it yourself.

The new Epiphone ES 335s have a less ‘daggy’ pickguard. New Inspired by Gibson Epi ES-335When I last looked into changing the ‘guard on my Epi, the received wisdom was that there was slight discrepancy in pickup spacing and that a Gibson ‘guard would require some slight modification. In due course the new pickguards could perhaps be sourced as an Epiphone spare part. Who knows?

I sent pickguards.com an email and the'll make a custom guard but postage was $113 so that put me off. I'll give Pickguardian a shot.
Damn... wish I had waited a bit before I bought a Dot. The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson ES-335 ES-335 is awesome.

Maybe should have.

The better headstock and rounded C profile makes this new Epi really appealing. Dang.

Don’t forget CTS pots.
They are the nicest Epiphones made in quite a while.

Philadelphia Luther Tools and Supplies.
I think I've bought metric replacement plastics for my Epiphone Les Paul.

I ordered a Epiphone ES335 today but there is a 6 month wait. Looking forward to it. Cheap way of upgrading a pickguard, Ay!
I had a look at a 2020 ES339 with Gibson headstock as well. It weighs a lot more than the previous version, feels like an un-chambered Les Paul, and the workmanship is impeccable. Epiphone have considerably upped the standard and it's still the same price as the previous model.

The pickup cutouts will most probably not match the pickguard you order. Sorry to be a downer, but the reality is things like this are not standardized across different models of guitar. The best thing to do is make one yourself. Not that hard to do because plastic is soft and easy to work. Use the original pickguard's edge that fits the pickups as the template for the upper edge, as well as the location of the bracket hole and screw hole at the pointy end, and then draw the 335 shape on the lower edge. Cut it out with a coping saw (I use a scrollsaw), and then sneak up to your lines with smooth files and sandpapers. It will slip right in like it was made for your Dot...because it was made for your Dot Here's a pickguard I made for a Washburn; I added binding to the lower edge to match the guitar.

Reminds me of the time my wife smashed a tail light on her car and visited the dealer for a replacement. She ended up ordering a new car (same model) when she was there.
