Hello
Does anyone know of a clip-on tuner that has a display that can be seen in sunlight ( or when you try and shade it with your hand ) ?
Played outside in daytime the other day and couldn't read the tuner, it was warm as well so ideal for going out of tune, but sorta got through it.
Any recommendations ?

Not too helpful, but the snarks I use at the work bench have a profoundly different brightness depending on the life of the battery. They're pretty bright with a new battery, but I don't know if they're the brightest ones out there; I mention it more as a suggestion to try a fresh battery to see if that does the trick.

well, we haven't had much sun here for the last coupla days so i haven't been able to check, but i would think that the tc electronic unitune (or polytune) would be pretty good. i shined a flashlight on it and could still read it if that helps. next time the sun's out (probably some time in may), i'll try to remember to test it.

Thanks for the replies
I have got a Snark, it has a much better screen than the one I had been using.
