Well, so many knowledgeable folks here, may be common knowledge to you, but......
For Halloween, I ordered an Abbot and Costello compilation DVD that included “Hold That Ghost”.
Two other films included were “Buck Privates” and “Ride Em Cowboy”.
In Buck Privates we have the original song Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy sung by The Andrews Sisters. I had no idea the song came from an Abbot and Costello film. A very young Ella Fitzgerald has her first film role in Ride Em Cowboy!

I've seen Buck Privates a couple of times. I didn't know that song was derived from the movie. Abbott and Costello were hilarious in my book.

Thanks Michael!
They worked The Who’s On First routine into at least one film in my small collection.

More off topic, but tribute to the classic skit.

Ahyes, Abbot and Costello. Good stuff. I have a couple of their movies on 8 mm release.
