Mr Tweedy, a Wilco adjacent gentleman has written a book. In the 90s alt thread I admitted a fondness for his musical outpourings. If you’re locked down, suffering from turkey sweats and have five minutes to spare, take a time out and write your song. Newspaper ArticleI haven’t read the book. It’s not published until 3 December in the UK. I do look forward to reading it. If the book arrives on time I could be a Christmas number one.

"When I’m on stage, my experience often goes something like this: Blankness...bliss...blankness... Twinkle of awareness that rocking has been achieved... bliss... Voice of Observing Ego yelling over amplifiers: WOW! YOU ARE EFFING KILLING IT DUUUUDE! ...clang! Wrong chord."
That is exactly what it's like to play in a band in front of people. I'll look forward to this one.

In 2012 after 38 years of not playing live we did a 40 year High School Reunion at Gilligans in Arlington Texas. I was all nerves until we started playing and I compartmentalized into our playing and then when I looked out I couldn't really see anyone so it got to be a lot of fun.
