My Facebook Marketplace covers lots of NE Texas including Dallas. I saw this ad for a Gibson J-50 listed for $100.00 and could not believe it. Well, I should have. It was the real thing including a case. I did contact the seller but the guitar had already sold. Just about made me sick that I missed this one.

Probably a good thing. At that price, how do you know it wasn't stolen?

Wow. Even in unplayable condition, that is a steal.
Everything is fixable on an acoustic guitar...even one run over by a car.

From the communication I got from the seller, they knew they had under priced the guitar but they just wanted someone else to enjoy it. Sounded like they didn't really know much about the vintage market. This J-50 should have sold for around $1500 if it was even in pretty good condition. It was only 60 miles from where I live. I could have been there in 1 hr.
