With all the prequels, sequels and mindless numbering of movie versions (Friday the 13th 1-27), Hollywood can't seem to break out of the cycle: if one movie is a hit, six more just like it can't miss. But they do.
What if some forward thinking Hollywood suit floated the idea of taking all the blockbuster films and re-doing them as musicals.
Terminator, the musical: Naked Arnold entertains the folks in that biker bar, doing "the Robot," to tunes on the jukebox
Rocky, the musical: Rocky is lured out of the Gay Men's Choir by Adrian and ONG... the two of them twirling on the ice, figure skating on Thanksgiving! It's to die for!
Predator, the musical: The Alien Pred critter busts out some treetop break dancing
Unforgiven, the musical: In the iconic shootout scene with Gene Hackman, Clint Eastwood hits the high notes with his song, "Deserve's Got Nuthin' to Do With It," which goes on to be a bigger hit than "Surrey With the Fringe on Top," from Oklahoma.

I know you’re being funny, but Rocky the Musical was already on Broadway in 2014. So honestly, the songs are already written...

Rambo, the Musical:
The climax of the film is when Sylvester Stallone and Brian Dennehy, both dressed in leotards, perform a touching duet in the damp forest with their rendition of The Music of the Knife.

•"Psycho", The Musical":
Sexy but oblivious embezzler Marion Crane is lathering up contentedly while crooning "Singing in the Rain" when a silhouetted figure (Norman/Mother) violently sweeps aside the shower curtain and starts hacking viciously with a foot-long butcher knife as "Who Let the Dogs Out?" booms at high decibels from the sub-woofers in the trunk of Marion's '57 Ford, parked in the space outside her room. Nosy Detective Milton Arbogast (Martin Balsam) is later carved up in similar fashion on the stairway of the Bates house as Average White Band's "Cut the Cake" blasts from the Victrola in Mother's second floor bedroom. The film culminates with Norman, now in police custody, sitting in isolation on a stool humming Merle Haggard's "Mama Tried".

Top Gun
Naturally Maverick is the top, with Goose as the bottom, who yodels that no bogey will John Wayne his afterburners before the next furball, no matter their angle of attack. The call and response "Great Balls of Fire" duet, featuring Tom Cruise and Anthony Edwards in the local gin joint, typically reduces audiences to tears.
