When I happen to be at Costco, it’s a $1.50 hotdog and 20oz drink. This I learned from our good friend JimmySee before we even had a Costco in Wichita. Only difference during COVID times is the order Kiosk (slick!) and you have to wait until you get home to doctor your dog with the proper additions. Mine is mustard and relish. I do miss the chopped onions they used to have. Hope that all comes back but the Kiosk is great!

I do enjoy the Costco hot dog deal, always have. When we went as kids, a couple of the parents on the block would all go together. I think because only one was a member. All of us kids would walk around for what seemed like hours, eat the free samples, and of course the hot dog combo. Sometimes we’d go in together on buying an entire box of baseball card packs. Sometimes we bought our own boxes.
Nowadays, I do my Costco run 9am on Saturdays, so I don’t get a dog.
Today’s lunch was grilled cheese with bacon on sourdough bread, at my wife’s request. Came out perfect, bread was very crunchy and the cheese nicely melted. Can’t beat a good grilled cheese imho.

I just had a big bowl of seafood and sausage gumbo from one of our local steak houses.

Excellent lunch at a pub yesterday - Bangers & Mash with a pint of Bass Ale.
My Costco lunch preference is a slice of pepperoni pizza.
