Other than Hyundai's OEM air filter (2017 Azera w/ V6), what might be a good one? People hate Fram oil filters, but I'm not sure about the air filters; less "demanding." I bought a WIX for my wife's Camry after doing some research a while back. I'm guessing it's OK.... ?

WIX is/has been my "go-to". Pretty sure they also make NAPA branded "Gold" and "Platinum" filters.

Wix, Purolator, K&N are good brands. Also, OEM filters, Motorcraft, AC Delco, etc. are hard to beat. For imports, NAPA is a solid choice. I have Fords right now so I use Motorcraft OEM filters.

Thanks. I've been reading online reviews these past two hours. I came this ->|<- close to going with Wix, but reading that Wix might be a little restrictive with air flow (working too well, so to speak), I found genuine Hyundai OEMs on ebay for a comparable price. I was intrigued with the K&N with its lifetime reusable oiling feature and seemingly superior filtering, but probably too messy for me, and inconvenient. Thanks again.

I just remembered an import brand I used to use. Nippon-Denso if I recollect correctly.

Most engines now days don't need super free flowing air filters, they don't breath well enough to utilize that extra capacity anyways.
Now if you have a modern high HP performance motor there might be some HP gains with a good free flowing filter.
If that's the case there's probably some dyno tests online available for vehicles like Mustang, Camaro, hemi/ turbo/supercharged motors and such.

Research K & N filters before investing. Not everyone believes the hype. I put one in my Mustang and my mileage actually dropped no discernible increase in power . I removed it and put a OEM filter back in. Of course that was my experience. I think the most important thing is to replace the filter when they get dirty. Just my 2 cents.

On the 15 and newer Mustangs the filter is a restriction and removing it will gain a couple of tenths in the 1/4 mile. I like aFe filters.

The oil-free "Pro DRY S Air Filter – Maximum Convenience"/"98.6% with filtration efficiency" looks pretty good.
