I think a Tele with any Fender Tweed (original or reproduction) is a winning combo. I wish he would have spent a little more time turning the knobs rather than just switch inputs. Even so I'm glad I watched it.

5E3 Deluxe thoughts follow. I don't like the results with all of the pedals, but still found this interesting:
Unfortunately, this next guy didn't balance the volume of the commentary with that of amp, so be careful if you turn up the volume on your computer to hear what he's saying: you may get blown out of your chair when he hits a chord. Still, worth a listen because it does give a thorough explanation of the "interactive" controls:

Tweeds are just magical. They have that beautiful lo-fi mid hump and a clean but dirty dynamic.
I have one in my arsenal, think I need another

That Speed Shop Deluxe sounds great. Tighter than the Fender Deluxe.
