set up a lawnchair on top of the dunes at Death Valley natl. park and watch the sunset over the desert Play a real 50s strat through a plexi-era Marshall super lead at full volume drive a group B rally car, preferebly an Audi Sport Quattro or a Lancia 037
The last one is probably the least likely, since most of them are in Europe and the owners don't let just anybody drive them, so an alternate would be to visit Japan.

LTB, I was reading the reviews of the "creation museum" and someone had a problem with it being religious.
They went to a place that has a re-creation of Noah's ark and are surprised it is religious based. I remember when it was being built. Some tried hard to get it cancelled.

I’d like to go back to the areas of Vietnam I was familiar with to see if any of my friends survived after the US walked away.

Another vote for the U.K.
I would also like to visit Havana, we're only an hour or so away in the winter; we were all set to go a year or so ago, but between the President and the virus, that never happened.

rickyguitar, if you make it to Dali in St. Pete, drive the hour to Sarasota and spend a day at the Ringling Bros. museum. It was way better than I could have ever imagined.
I have nothing left on my bucket list. Unlimited interests but no burning passion for any one thing anymore. From here on out I'll just take life as it comes, and be glad to be here.

For me? Dali museum in St Pete's, FL. For my wife, toss-up..Grand Canyon or Italy. How about you? If you wind up choosing the Grand Canyon, I recommend the Bright Angel Cabins on the south rim. We stayed in those and really enjoyed ourselves. They're only about 25 yards from the edge, so you can just step out the door, walk over and take a gander whenever you please. The "mood" of the scenery changes constantly with the changing angle of the sun.
There's a good, reasonably-priced restaurant nearby and the El Tovar Hotel, built in 1905. Also nearby is the trailhead of the Bright Angel Trail which will take you all the way to the bottom of the canyon if you're so inclined.

See my grandson when he is born in less than a month. Our second grandkid was born last October. I've only seen him twice: once, briefly, through a window and then again when the wife and I drove down there, got tested and then waited til test results came back negative so we could "enter their bubble".
I also feel for you about your dad. I helped take care of both my folks as they became terminally ill and passed and, gut wrenching as it was, I'm glad I had the opportunity to "be there for them". Hopefully, that will be possible for you as well.

Since I'm not a traveler, my bucket list would include things I can accomplish right at home: Learn some Tai Chi That sounds like a great idea! When I was about 12 or 13, the "Bruce Lee" phenomenon hit and I wanted to learn Martial Arts and be a Black Belt. I bought a paperback book on self-defense and taught myself a few punches and kicks. I used my paper route money to take Kung Fu lessons and walked 2-3 miles to class and back home again. After a few months the tuition went up and I could no longer afford it, so I had to quit. (BTW, it's nearly 48 years later, and I still remember most of my stances, punches, kicks, and parts of a form or two!) At 16 I started Tae Kwon Do lessons until I graduated High School and went into the Army at 17. After the Army I continued my TKD training, but it was an on/off thing as I spent more time partying than going to class. After many, many years I never made it past Blue Belt, so I decided to start again at a new school thinking that a change in scenery might give me the incentive to try harder. The Head Instructor/owner of this new school was actually from my old TKD school, and was originally a student under my previous Master's older brother. (He had a falling-out with my old Master, so he left and opened his own school.) Because he already knew me I didn't have to start as a White Belt, but I did have to lean a whole new curriculum. And, in 1999 my bucket-list wish came true and I earned my Black Belt... finally! Now, I'm older, fatter, and out-of-shape, so I've been thinking about going back to Kung Fu classes. However, at 60 it may be better to consider Tai Chi instead, if I can find a good instructor. And, my current bucket-list wish is to find a Chinese girlfriend to help me practice the little bit of Mandarin I know (I'm self-taught), but I don't think my wife likes this idea!

My bucket list:
•Wake up tomorrow (as opposed to "not")
•Wake up the next day
•Repeat as needed.
Otherwise, I have no problem finding ways to fill the time.

I'm still hoping to catch a 50 pound striper from the beach.
After that I'd like to visit Greece -- particularly the Islands.
I don't see either happening but who knows?

I remember when it was being built. Some tried hard to get it cancelled. You remember when the Ark was built? I'm curious; did Noah prefer Maple or Rosewood? Ginger or Maryann? BTW, I knew that a lot of you guys were older than me (I'm 60 1/2), but I didn't realize just how old!

A couple travel ones: Go back to England and visit Scotland. Train tour of the Canadian Rockies and stay at those gorgeous resorts in Banff, Lake Louise, etc. Rocky Mountaineer
Back to Hawaii to visit the Big Island since we missed it last time. Wife wants to go back to Colorado/New Mexico, probably hit the Grand Canyon that same trip. Want to take some weekend trips and hit some of the bigger olde hotels on the East Coast: The Tides inn, Jefferson in Richmond, Otesaga in NY, places like that. I guess it's too late to get started on my EGOT, so let's go with: Getting a house that has a full band room. On my "not-so-bucket" list: Skydiving

I'm still hoping to catch a 50 pound striper from the beach.[ Catching a ginormous fish is on my list, but I’m talking a shark or a marlin or something huge. I want to see the Hockey Hall of Fame, that’s easy. Just requires a trip to Toronto. But I also want to hold the Stanley Cup.

It's no group B era Quattro or Lancia but I've been racing a 2000 Subaru Impreza in ARA stage rally (and smaller local events) for the past few years. It has been an amazing experience. A Group B car would scare the hell out of me on stage.

And it was Gopher Wood although Rosewood or Maple would have been pretty. Also it was stuck on Mount Ararat not Gilligans island😄😉

Not a 150 pound stripper? I'd probably throw her back -- I'd never get all the glitter out of my truck.
