It's a cheapo from Hong Kong, it made it to Chicago, then it made it to Dallas, then it made it to North Houston, yay!
Well, not so fast, then for some reason it went to San Antonio, then it made a stop in a different part of San Antonio.
I checked this morning and it's back in North Houston.
So unless the post office decides to send it on another adventure, maybe it will make it down south to my part of Houston tomorrow?
And USPS wonders why we point and laugh at them....
(well, maybe they don't)

The algorithm is trying to get you to chill and not be so uptight about "schedules" and "delivery time".... or it is cruelly taunting you.
"Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.”

(well, maybe they don't) Which one did you get? I purchased a cheapo from Amazon called the "Handmade YMUZE GOLD Professional Overdrive...". Then I jumped on a goood deal on a Wampler Tumnus that arrived yesterday. I compared the two and they sound incredibly similar (obviously) with the Wampler being more "gainy" and a touch more clear. The YMUZE has a warmer overall sound. I will keep it around because it can take a battery, but the Tumnus is going on a small pedalboard to keep things compact.

I’m in the Corpus Christi area right now. Could it be I’m unknowingly repelling said clone?

I've got a Made in UK Marshall Gov'nor headed this way. Anyone seen it lately? It's probably in San Antonio too. It'll go through there at least one more time before it gets to you. Enjoy the wait! Sincerely, The Post Office

I find that USPS delivery has become very spotty this past year. I recently bought a CD from a seller who lives no more than 30 miles from me on Long Island. USPS routed to NYC, then New Jersey (?), before sending it to sit in a Jersey City USPS facility. It arrived today after a 7-day, 30 mile adventure.

I've had a number of packages take a vacation in North Houston, but never detour elsewhere before hitting Richmond (TX). Its usually something like 3 days from the east coast to Houston, then 3 more days to go 30 miles to my local PO.

JOYO seems to make good stuff. I have their tremolo pedal and it definitely gets the job done - for 30 bucks no less.

Not to turn this into a gear thread, but I have their Taichi, which is supposed to be a "Dumble in a Pedal" and it is amazing. I really really love it, and it's going on my board if/when I ever play out live again. I also have their Uzi, which is really good too. It's supposed to be a Marshall in a pedal. It's super high gain, and I don't see me using it a whole lot, but it will definitely get some use. It'll be great in the studio for specific parts/colors.

I bought a pair of jeans from Kohl's last week, online. Was supposed to receive them via UPS last Tuesday.
But if I read the tracking info correctly, they were on a truck that was involved in an accident, and then they got sent in the wrong direction. Maybe next week, I'm now told.
I hope I live long enough to wear them.

Well, twice I had several 90 day mail order pharmacy prescriptions Make it all the way to the small city I live in via USPS just to have it go back to Fort Worth mail sort then on one occasion it went to a small town 65 miles away call Cleborne Tx before finally coming back to me. On second occasion it did same thing, comes to my city, back to Fort Worth and then to Burleson Tx 25 miles away. I was able to contact that post office and have them hold it and I drove to them and picked it up.
Years ago I worked at DFW Airport and mailed an important business letter (Airmail) thinking this is the best place to mail since it is "going directly onto Airplane". WRONG! It went from there to the Dallas Mail Sort facility then back to the same post office and then onto and Airplane. Talking about efficiency. No wonder the cost of mail is going up!

Are you sure that you read the ad correctly? Is it possible that instead of saying "free shipping" it said "free range" shipping?

Its not just the post office. A couple of years ago I was scheduled for cataract surgery and needed some special order drops. The supplier overnighted it FedEx from Jersey to Ocala Fl with a guarantee am delivery. By am it was in Orlando. Okay. By evening it was scanned in at Charles de Gaulle France.

I ordered some crowning files from Philadelphia Luthier Tool & Supply 9 days ago and as far as I can tell the package never made it out of PA.

Packages from PA and OH seem to be affected the worst. It was that way in Dec., and it doesn’t seem to have improved much.

Ha. I remembered this thread and started noticing what Fed Ex did on the LEFT coast. I'm not sure that was wise !
Purchase : 1 overpriced middle aged Pignose(an addiction of mine) from a rich guy in Oakland, Ca. so he could pay his real estate tax...presumably.
Then... hold on to something solid. A suitable whiplash medicine is advised !
Mar 13 2021 ... 4:11 pm ... tendered at Fed Ex ... San Mateo, CA Mar 13 2021 ... 5:56 pm ... picked up ............ South San Francisco, CA Mar 13 2021 ... 7:75 pm ... left ................. San Francisco, CA Mar 13 2021 ... 8:45 pm ... arrived .............. Oakland, Ca Mar 14 2021 ... 5:39 pm ... departed ............. Oakland, Ca Mar 14 2021 ... 9:20 am ... arrived .............. MEMPHIS, TN ! Mar 14 2021 ... 1:52 am ... departed ............. Memphis, TN with full complement of ELVIS MOJO hopefully... Mar 14 2021 ... 5:47 pm ... arrived .............. SEATTLE, WA for a full complement of Nirvana etc MOJO perhaps...
From San Francisco to Memphis to Seattle. Now THAT is a big shipping whiplash !

I got one. Pittsburgh Pa to Florence Ky. Leaves Pitt stops in Cinci. Leaves Cinci goes to Florence. Leaves Florence goes to Lexington Ky. Leaves Lexington goes to Cleveland Oh. Leaves Cleveland and goes to Cincinnati. Leaves Cincinnati and goes to Florence Ky. Out for delivery. Dude does not knock on door or leave a tag. Tracking says it goes to UPS store 15 miles away from my home.
I was not a happy camper.
