A new word for an old thing. If advertising doesn't work why is there so much of it ? HTH Exactly. This thread got me thinking about the Beatles and their deal with Vox in the early years. Talk about catching lightning in a bottle with what would be called "influencers" in today's social media world.

I was going to add we are just a different demographic. I follow a bunch of guitarists on Instagram (Greg Koch comes to mind). He influences me to practice and GAS every day.

When I was a kid there were a few. Now I could care less about what celebrities do or think. I hate Hollywood gossip shows like entertainment tonight.
