I’ve been through many factory expansions over the years and no matter how well you plan there are always issues that will need to be ironed out. I would be wary buying a new guitar built in the 1st couple years of expansion.

In retrospect I wish I had kept it and had fretwork done. The other think was the gold didn’t last. It wore off considerably in 6 months. Don’t think it was plated well

Demand is up--which is great for the guitar business. Gibson could use this shot in the arm...I hope they get it right. Bozeman J-45 here too. A very nice guitar--after some necessary twiddling like removing the robot tuners and replacing the saddle.

I graduated to an ES-335 but couldn’t tolerate the neck on it unless sitting. It felt like you really had to reach to play in the 1-3 fret range standing. I have several hollow bodies including a Guild Capri, Epiphone Casino Elite, Ibanez John Schofield Signature and a Gretsch 5122. Those pretty much scratch my itch for hollow body guitars.
