Hi everyone.
I'm looking to upgrade from my Boss RC-20 looper to one of the new RC-5 models. I see that a lot of people are suggesting it beneficial to invest in the Boss extension foot pedal for easier loop start/stop, but I'm wondering if there's anything available in on of those metal touch pads connected to a 1/4" cable that I could adhere onto my guitar and just kind of brush to activate as part of the strumming motion.
Anybody aware of something like that? And would it work?

It is totally possible. But it would take some creativve soldering to wire it up to work with a pedal.
If you use a looper that's a function in a programmable digital modeler that has an expression pedal jack, it would be simpler to implement: you could program the jack as your switch control to start/stop the loop.

Thanks, Peegoo. I had hoped that I could take a break from cutting new ground, but I guess that's my curse in life.
