My wife just ordered one for me for Christmas, stykkyd put me over the fence. The concept sounds too good to be true, Teley to Acoustic with a flip of a switch? BTW I am getting the Sunburst.

I used to play in a band with a woman who had an old Tele style Acoustisonic guitar. It sounded great in the PA and monitors. Much better than my Guild with a K&K under the bridge. However, when I brought my acoustic rig my sound was incredible. Everything to the right of the Twin was for acoustic guitar. If one cabinet wasn't enough I had another one and an extra 400 watt channel I could use. One was always enough. I could drown out the drummer. i.postimg.cc/dVkKhxDX/Guitar-Zone-mod-2.jpg

Sweetwater is advertising they have these, but won't have any until January. In fact there are none of the less expensive models in Michigan. I don't want to spend an extra $800.00 for and Ebony fret board and Thats the only difference I have noticed in the descriptions.
Unless I missed something??

OK I'm an idiot. The $800 price difference is for the made in Mexico version. Nowhere on Sweetwaters site said that, until you expand one of the pictures. It arrived yesterday and I just took it out of the box after waiting 24hrs. I still like it so far, its just, there goes my all American team.
