A great year for those selling music gear. I had no idea Sweetwaters’ sales would exceed a billion $.

A great year for those selling music gear. I had no idea Sweetwaters’ sales would exceed a billion $. Had no idea! I guess I have contributed to their success

After reading that story earlier today and checking ebay, I need to sell some vintage pedals I no longer use.

I just found out today that my GAS for a new bass with funds I did not expect is not happening.
I am not sad about this, but I probably should not be with bass #21 probably arriving in 2 months.

One thing that surprised me was how many Eminence guitar extension cabinets I sold. You wouldn’t think those would fly off the shelves with public performance at an all-time low.

I did my bit for the musical gear industry during our first lockdown.
At the moment I’m trying to save the record industry, singlehanded.
I like to have a cause and a hobby.

I listed my vintage Minimoog on Reverb a few days ago. Looks like I picked the right time. I had a couple low-ball offers which I declined. I'm not going to give it away. It's a 1974 model which is the first year they were commercially available and I am the second owner. It's in excellent condition. I completely disassembled and went through the entire unit a few years ago cleaning pots and switches and calibrating everything. I also put new pads in all the keys on the keyboard and leveled the keys. I spent a few days working on it. The wooden case was rebuilt and refinished back in the late 80's and it has been in an Anvil case in a closet almost every since then.
Nope...not giving it away for cheap. I've seen ones nowhere near as nice as mine going for considerably more than I am asking.

Now is a good time. Stimulus and income tax return season.

How very efficient of you! I endeavoured to save the hat industry too. In my own small way!

It's a 1974 model which is the first year they were commercially available... Oops. That is incorrect. Apparently they came out in 1970 according to Google.
