Lately I've seen several tweed Bronco amps listed at $499. I find it amazing that they appreciated in value so much since I paid $40 for a used one some years ago. Some of the listings correctly note that the tweed Bronco is a solid state amplifier and was made by Fender in the 1990s. Tweed Fever must be spreading! Ironically I tossed out a wrecked one just before the pandemic. I had planned to modify it to fit a Champ-type tube circuit but lost interest. Bad move.

I’ve seen that too.
That can’t be what they’re getting these days. Can it?!?!

No way I’m paying that for a tweed covered solid state amp.

When I first got back into guitar this was my first amp that I got. It was fine for what it was at the time but I quickly decided that I wanted a tube amp and moved on to other things. Mine was a transitional one because it had a “Made in Mexico” sticker over where it should read “Made in USA”. That’s worth at least another $50 in value right? Should’ve kept it LOL

I can't believe I acutally played some small jazz concert gigs with mine. The soundman loved it but I thought I was barely audible in the mix. Our horns had a tendency to blow loud which didn't help things much.

The original Broncos were re-badged Champs (same circuit) and sold as part of a set that included the little red Bronco guitar, which was a one-pickup Mustang with a different vibrato bridge. If you're looking for a Champ or other small tube amp and trip over a Bronco, snap it up!
