Anybody know "Bon Jour Tristesse?" Directed by Otto Preminger (1958); starring David Niven, Deborah Kerr, and a very young child-like Jean Seberg. Setting (wonderful): French riviera (take me there now, please); Story: creepy. Cecile is a decadent young girl who lives the lush rather inappropriate physical life with her rich playboy father Raymond, a widower. When Anne, Raymond's old love interest, comes to Raymond's villa for a visit and gets more and more comfortable there, Cecile is afraid that her lifestyle will be altered, and sets out to make sure that it isn't. Locations, photography, cast; music: wonderful. Costume design by Givenchy (as French couture as it gets) -- Not yer Hollywood run-of-the-mill fare. Totally worth a look. www.imdb.com/title/tt0051429/?ref_=nm_flmg_dr_15
