Surprising to me. I thought Carlton would be too elitist to get involved in such a venture but hey!
I know not of these "Sire" basses of which they speak but looks like a 335, Valley Arts superstrat and Lester lookeylikes :

I had an Ibanez LR10 (Lee Ritenour 335 knock off) many years ago that was a great player! Yeah! I know its not the same company but if they do a great job making great guitars I'd love to try them!

That’s very interesting.
I looked on Sire’s website, and they’ll be available in the USA (where I am) in the 2nd quarter, for around $600 - $700.

So... does Gibson still offer the Larry Carlton signature 335? Would be an odd "conflict of interests".

Sire basses endorsed by Marcus Miller have a very good rep here in Europe hopefully the guitars will be just as good.
