Clean up the metal parts that is! I'm soaking some bridge parts now!
The body will have a good cleaning as well!
It (also) looks like some solder work needs to be done to separate the pickup cover from the pickup itself. That either needs new covers or cleaned up!
They say Patent Applied For on the back of the PU.
Any insight to this is Greatly Appreciated!
Thank You!!

Personally, unless you're looking for a different tone, I would just try some metal polish on the covers and leave them on.
(Having removed a few in my day, it was probably more to look cool than anything else, and yes, you will need a soldering iron.)
Flitz or Simichrome work wonders.
Music Nomad sells an excellent cleaner/polishing spray, but furniture polish also works.

Thanks Pinetree!
I'll give it a shot! Just can't stand them looking like crap anymore!

If they're nickel covers they won't clean up completely, but a metal polish is going to get it as close as you can get it with at-home measures. You should be able to take it from grunge-y to relic'ed, but not to brand new.
Be careful with some metal polishes because they have solvent bases that are pretty aggressive. I don't know if they'll hurt lacquer, but it wouldn't surprise me. Also, if you go too heavy you could end up with white crusties around the pole pieces that will be hard to get out.
If (and only if) you can use it without getting it on the finish, regular ol' Windex is surprisingly good. Simple green works as well.

Got the Flitz applied and meh....
Thanks funkykikuchiyo! Your observations are spot on about brand new!
I really thought they would clean up mo betta!
I'll replace them down the line!

Yeah, I'm not a heavy sweater, but for some reason I'm really hard on nickel hardware. That is how it ends up looking for me. Periodic windex preapplied to a paper towel is generally fine for me. The way I see it, if the pickup came that way it would cost more money, right?

The way I see it, if the pickup came that way it would cost more money, right? Sounds about right! The Grover tuning keys were also very pitted and I used toothpaste and (I think) I used crushed aluminum foil to clean them. Actually did a decent job of cleaning them up but not the other metal parts.
