I posted to the "Fuzz" thread about a pedal I would be getting from the collection of my Nephew Steve who died unexpectedly in July at the age of 42. My best memories of Steve are the times we spent in the music room here at the house noodling around with my guitars and pedals ... Though Steve was really key board player at heart. His wife just come through town on her move from Colorado back to California, which is where they are both from originally. She handed me 13 effects pedals and accessories in a hard 36" X 15" Rhyno case. All new stuff to me. This Danelectro Fab Tone was on the other thread. DSC_2732 by Larry Madsen, on Flickr I think this one is missing it's key board. DSC_2733 by Larry Madsen, on Flickr Echo Park ... must be delay. I have a Maxon AD999 as my only delay now. I may need the paperwork. DSC_2737 by Larry Madsen, on Flickr Korg PitchBlack tuner DSC_2738 by Larry Madsen, on Flickr Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 plus. I've always had interest in these. Firstly my condolences on the passing of your nephew . 42 is awful young. The King of Britains looks interesting.

The King of Britains looks interesting. Thank you Ricketi for the kind words. I looked on YouTube and found there are a few versions of the pedal. I found this demo which shows this exact version of King of the Britains. It's an OD/Distortion deal.

Sorry for your loss. You can get some great tone out those pedals.

The SS/BS TAFM has a small and loyal following - I suspect by that thing being there he was a member of "Ilovefuzz", a specialty message board - along with a couple other things in the list (KotB etc)

Thanks guys. Rob, Yes Steve was very active on the internet and many message boards. That *Hardwire CR-7 Stereo Chorus" has me wondering. I've not looked up anything on it yet, but it appears to have no controls at all. Could be interesting figuring that out ... or maybe it's so simple there is very little to figure out??

I think the controls on that are under that cover at the top.
In general, the Digitech Hardwire pedals are quite good.

So sorry you lost your nephew, and fellow musician. As for the pedals, may you stomp them in memory of Steve
