It had been sitting for a few months.
Plugged it in today, let it warm up on standby, switched it on, sound for half a strum, then nothing.
Thoughts?

Tube?
That would be my first attempt to fix.

Too off the back panel, both tubes light up. I haven’t pulled them,

If you have known good spares I swap them - one at a time.

No spares, but I’ll pick them up tomorrow, only 2 tubes

What tubes does it use?
You should also try reseating the tubes.

The tubes light up, so we know the power supply is receiving AC from the wall outlet (i.e., the fuse is good).
Start with the simple stuff and move toward the complex. Think of the problem as a break in the signal chain, and approach it as follows.
1. Try a different guitar. 2. Try a different guitar cable. 3. Run a guitar cable from the Supro's line out jack on the back to another guitar amp's input jack to see if the Supro's preamp stage is working. If the second amp makes sound, the Supro's preamp stage is functioning. 4. Plug the amp into a different speaker cabinet to rule out the onboard speaker as the problem. etc.

Thanks for all the input, problem solved.
Yesterday i had tried the swap cables, swap guitars method with no improvement.
I took out the chassis and pulled the tubes, both looked fine.
Based on Peegoo’s suggestions, i decided to go step by step instead of buying new tubes.
I put the tubes back in, plugged everything in and switched the amp on. After a minute of letting it warm up, flipped standby to on.
Everything works.
So, re-seating the tubes seems to have done the trick.
Upon reflection, it may have been something as simple as that first power on after a long sit with too little warm up time, or even a static charge, or maybe it just needed a nap.
Thanks

Tell the amp you're very cross with it and it better not do that again!

What do you think of this amp? I ask because I bought the 8” version for my granddaughter and, of course, I had to give it a go. I was quite impressed!
