I'm fixing a friend's USA Tele with N3 pickups. The volume knob has a button in the center that won't stay engaged when pressed. It's supposed to be maintained. The pot is a black cannister that's not a typical pot. Any ideas on how to identify it and where to find a replacement?
BTW, this guitar is very nice. It's CAR with white binding on the front, a tummy cut, and a very nice maple neck.

I know that there are at least two versions of the S-1 switch and they are not interchangeable There may be more. If it were my guitar, yup the complicated wiring would be history.
