Stainless will eat frets faster - depending on playing style.

Are you sure those are stainless? They don't appear to be.
Haven't used them, but I have used their ground wound phosphor bronze strings, as well as Nickel Rockers which are ground wound. I'm not a fan of either. The ground wound phosphor's only benefit is that they squeak less. They seem to break more as well, but since the electric doesn't have a wound G that might be a moot point. Nickel Rockers have too much of a "half way dead" sound for my tastes.
I like Fender Original 150s. They're the brightest pure nickel that I'm aware of (except for the boutique brands, Pyramid and Thomastik), and nothing like a muted or dead string, so if that in-between level of brightness be what ye seek, it maybe worth considering.
Of course, I haven't used those D'Addarios. They could be amazing. Never know until you try.

Yep the wrap is CRES, says so right on the package. I'll give em a try, hopefully they are not too dull sounding.

Ah, okay. I found it on there.
You can do a quick test on fret wear. Do an aggressive bend/vibrato with the low E on an upper fret and look carefully for marks left on the fret. Some of the more aggressive strings will leave a bit of a mark. It won't tell you much, but it'll give you a bit of a sense of how harsh they are without waiting for it to need refretting.

Flats and halves/grounds do less damage to frets than rounds can, in my experience.

I've used stainless monsters exclusively for almost 30 years.
A couple guitars I've had now for 20-some years.
You can tell where I play (not cowboy chords, my wear patterns are DISTINCTIVE!), but never had to do a refret.

I'll check them out on my Casino. I have to replace the nut as the slots are too low.
