Yes, you read that right. Leftee bought a new acoustic.
This one checked all the boxes for me. Small in size, short in scale (easier on my fingers) but tone that belies its size.
My new Taylor Urban Ash GT (Grand Theater)

Sure is purty. Taylors have never knocked my socks off but I haven't played any in quite a while. Did you get the $99 Baby with it?
I expect that a vid of you doing "every rose has it's thorn" is forthcoming...

Actually, it was a free baby. See the for sale forum here.

It is quite weird.
I spoke with my Sweetwater rep about it before purchase and decided to go ahead any ways.

Congrats. I'm also not a big Taylor guy, but their recent ones (like the American Dream guitars and these) are very good, and I've been very tempted by the AD model(s)...

I’ve not been a Taylor guy myself. But when they started down the path with the V bracing, etc., my mind started to change.
Historically I’ve always liked Taylor’s on stage in a mix more than in person in the room.
This guitar is both lively and full. So far, so good.

That looks really nice. As a long time Taylor fan I can promise it will sound better with age.

Congratulations. I don’t own any Taylors, my nephew is really into them, they are great. I did look at the small one at one time, but went with the Martin. Sold it a year ago. I haven’t owned a dreadnought since the early 90s.

Congrats, that is a very handsome guitar!
My favorite guitar is an old Guild with ash b/s. It's a great tonewood.

Thanks! I am enjoying this guitar.
The mini I got as part of the package deal sold on Reverb. The buyer didn’t even make an offer. It must have been love at first sight.

The worship pastor at our church plays a Taylor electric-acoustic. He also plays lefty. I'll have to see how his is different from yours or if it's the same model.

The images I posted earlier don't display the true size of the guitar. Here it is alongside my old Dean dread.
