Dogs: the ultimate spongers...and yet it never interferes with how much we love 'em.
How in the heck do they pull that off?

I've heard it said that dogs are the smartest parasites.
I'm ok with that.

Yet some people continue misunderstand: they think of the dog's ancestors as "failed wolves" who couldn't make it on their own so they scavenged human trash middens and begged for food. The current, worldwide, wolf population is estimated at 200,000-250,000. Current, worldwide, dog population? 900,000,000 and rising. Wait a minute: who's the failure, then?
I say dogs have a winning strategy totally dialed in.

He looks like trouble to me -- good luck. I think you'll have your hands full. Take that little feller to the park and the ladies will swarm you like skeeters.
(Edited: Extra points for the name -- that's hilarious.)

Yep, already "Boo" or "BooBoo". He's our son's dog so like grandkids we get to go home when we've had enough. Little varmint has some needle teeth, already drew blood on me.
